Once commissioned by the state, we send your notary package.
Alabama Notary Package
Our basic Alabama Notary package includes your state-required $25,000 notary bond, a self-inking notary stamp in your choice of three colors, and a notary certificate suitable for framing. You will also receive instructions on how to submit your application to your local probate judge’s office.
To become a notary in Alabama, you will need to meet certain state requirements as well as any county-specific requirements set by your local probate judge. Read our Alabama Notary Guide to learn more about eligibility requirements for notaries.
The state’s notary application fee will vary from county to county, but it typically ranges from $13 to $29. You can contact your county’s probate judge to find specific rules and procedures for the application process.
After you submit your application, meet all state and county requirements, and pay the state application fee, you will be appointed as an Alabama notary. Next, you will need to provide us a copy of your commission information so we can manufacture your custom notary stamp.
