Tips For Completing An Error-Free Application

  1. The state of Idaho does not provide the notary bond. You must purchase a bond from a notary bonding agency such as Notaries.com (included in our package).
  2. You must sign your surety bond before sending it to the state. You can choose your name of choice to appear on your official seal of office, but make sure you use the exact same name on both the bond and application.
  3. The Idaho Secretary of State will only accept notary applications that are notarized. You must also include the original bond and the $30 state filing fee.
